    دَوْشَة
    dawshah / dawsha / dawshe / dawsheh || daouchah / daoucha / daoucheh /
    word in Egyptian Levantine
    كلمة دَوْشَة (أو دَوْشِة، حسب أصل المتحدث بها) يعود أصلها، في الظاهر، لكلمة ضجَّة الفصيحة. وتُستعمل الكلمة في بلاد الشام ومصر، حسبما أعرف شخصياً.

    The word "dawshah / dawsha / dawshe / dawsheh || daouchah / daoucha / daoucheh" (depending on the origin of its speaker) originates, apparently, from the MSA (Modern-Standard-Arabic -i.e., fus'ha) word for noise: Dhajjah. The word is used in both the Levant (Ar.: Belaad ash-Shaam) and Egypt, from what I personally know.
